Gnostic Church of the Pearl Releases First Music CD - November 20, 2009
The San Diego-based Gnostic Church of the Pearl has released its first musical CD, Hymns of the Pearl. The music has its heritage in the ancient Gnostic traditions concerning the origins of human beings and their destiny. The CD contains ten hymns that emerge out of the Gnostic scriptures from the first through fourth centuries.
Using contemporary musical arrangements and vocal harmonies to present the ancient message, the artists called The Messengers of the Light, have brought the wisdom and vision of the Gnostics to the twenty-first century.
